The Hay Festival 2023 is set to be a star-studded affair, featuring an impressive line-up of more than 500 in-person events from 25 May to 4 June. The festival promises to be a space where great minds can think differently and where imaginations are free to roam. With the slogan “11 days of different”, the festival will bring together a diverse range of speakers, including Stormzy, Tracey Emin, Barbara Kingsolver, and Richard Osman.
One of the highlights of the festival will be a special event celebrating five years of Stormzy’s publishing imprint, #Merky Books. The musician will join a number of other book-loving musicians at the festival, including Dua Lipa, who will participate in a live recording of her podcast, At Your Service, with Booker prize-winner Douglas Stuart. Dua Lipa will also talk about her love of reading with Booker Prize Foundation director Gaby Wood.
